Overview
The Church Health Dashboard provides a composite view of your church's overall health across five key pillars: giving, attendance, small groups, retention, and volunteering. Each pillar is scored out of 100, and the scores are averaged into an overall health score displayed as a circular gauge. The page also surfaces attention items (prioritised by severity) and a checklist of suggested action items.
This is a strategic planning tool designed for senior pastors and leadership teams. It aggregates data from across multiple modules (Steward, Gather, Circles, Serve) into a single health assessment.
Fields & Controls
Overall Health Score
| Field | Type | Description |

| Circular Gauge | Chart | A circular progress gauge showing the overall health score out of 100. Colour-coded: green (70+) for good health, amber (50-69) for needs attention, red (below 50) for critical. |
| Health Label | Display | "Good Health", "Needs Attention", or "Critical" based on the overall score. |
| Pillar Summary | List | A mini list of all five pillars with their individual scores and colour-coded dots. |
Health Pillars
| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Pillar Card | Card | One card per health pillar. Each card shows the pillar icon, name, score, trend direction, progress bar, description, and attention items. |
| Pillar Name | Display | The name of the health pillar (e.g., "Attendance", "Giving", "Small Groups", "Retention", "Volunteering"). |
| Score | Display | The pillar's score out of 100, colour-coded (green/amber/red) based on severity. |
| Trend Indicator | Display | An arrow icon (up/down/stable) with the percentage change and direction. |
| Progress Bar | Bar | A horizontal progress bar showing the score as a percentage, colour-coded to match the score severity. |
| Description | Text | A brief explanation of what the pillar measures and what the score means. |
| Attention Items | List | Specific areas within this pillar that need attention, shown with amber warning icons. |

| Field | Type | Description |

| Severity | Badge | The urgency level of the attention item: high (red left border), medium (amber left border), or low (gray left border). |
| Description | Text | A description of what needs attention. |
| Pillar | Label | Which health pillar this attention item belongs to. |

Actions
Review Health Pillars
Scroll through the pillar cards to review each area of church health. Focus on pillars with scores below 50 (shown in red) as these represent critical areas needing immediate attention.
Address Attention Items
The attention items section shows the most urgent issues sorted by severity. High-severity items (red) should be addressed first. Each item identifies the pillar it belongs to, helping you connect the issue to the relevant module.
Track Action Items
Use the action items checklist to track progress on suggested improvements. Click the checkbox next to each item to mark it as done. The completion counter updates automatically.
