Overview
The Member Profile is a comprehensive view of a single person in your church database. It shows their personal details, household linkage, engagement score, attendance history, circles membership, care items, notes, documents, and custom fields. The page is organized into a fixed profile header with tabs below.
Profile Header
The top section is pinned and always visible. It displays the member's avatar (initials or photo), full name, membership status badge, campus, engagement score, and quick-action buttons.

| Avatar | Image / Initials | Profile photo if uploaded, otherwise a gradient circle with the member's initials. |
| Full Name | Text | Displayed as "Last, First" with the preferred name in parentheses if set. |
| Membership Status | Badge | Color-coded chip showing current status (Member, Regular Attendee, Visitor, Staff, Inactive). |
| Campus | Text | The campus this member belongs to. |
| Engagement Score | Numeric | A 0-100 score computed nightly from attendance, giving, circles, and care data. |
| QR Code | SVG | A QR code linking to the member's profile page, useful for quick lookup during check-in. |
Tabs
The profile page has seven tabs, each showing different aspects of the member's record:
Overview Tab
The default tab showing all personal details in a two-column layout:

| Preferred Name | Text | Nickname or goes-by name. |
| Date of Birth | Date | Birthday in long format (e.g., "March 15, 1985"). |
| Gender | Text | MALE, FEMALE, OTHER, or UNSPECIFIED. |
| Envelope # | Text | Giving envelope number, displayed as ENV-####. |
Text | Primary email address. | |
| Phone | Text | Home or primary phone number. |
| Mobile | Text | Cell or mobile phone number. |
| Address | Text | Full address: street, city, province, postal code. |
| Household | Link | Name of the linked household. Clickable to open the household detail. |
| Membership | Text | Current membership status formatted as title case. |
| Campus | Text | Campus name. |
| Marital Status | Text | Single, Married, Widowed, or Divorced. |
| Baptism Date | Date | Date of baptism. |
| Salvation Date | Date | Date of salvation decision. |
| Anniversary | Date | Wedding anniversary date. |
| Join Date | Date | Date the member joined the church. |
| Employer | Text | Current employer or company. |
| Occupation | Text | Job title or occupation. |
| School | Text | School currently attending. |
| Emergency Contact | Text | Emergency contact person name. |
| Emergency Phone | Text | Emergency contact phone number. |
| Allergies | Text | Known allergies (important for children's ministry). |
| Preferred Contact | Text | Preferred contact method: Email, Phone, Text, or Mail. |
Attendance Tab
Shows the member's check-in history across all services. Each record shows the date, service name, check-in method (Individual or Headcount), and time. Records are loaded from the Gather module and support cursor-based pagination.
Circles Tab
Displays the member's small group participation. Groups are categorized as Active, Pending, and Past. You can add the member to a new circle using the “Add to Group” button, which opens a search modal of available circles.
Care Tab
Shows care items associated with this member — prayer requests, pastoral visits, and follow-ups. You can create a new care item or log a pastoral visit directly from this tab.
Notes Tab
Internal pastoral notes about the member. Notes are timestamped and attributed to the user who wrote them. You can add new notes using the text input at the top of the tab.
Documents Tab
Attached documents and files associated with the member (e.g., signed covenants, baptism certificates, forms).
Custom Fields Tab
Displays tenant-defined custom fields configured in Settings. Values can be edited inline and saved. Custom field definitions are loaded from the settings API.
Actions
Edit Profile
- Click the Edit button in the profile header
- The edit modal opens with three sub-tabs: Identity, Contact, and Membership
- Modify any fields and click Save Changes
- The profile reloads with the updated data
Send Email
- Click the Email button in the profile header
- A composition modal opens pre-addressed to the member's email
- Compose and send your message
Add a Note
- Switch to the Notes tab
- Type your note in the input field at the top
- Click Save to attach the note to this member's record
Create a Care Item
- Switch to the Care tab
- Click New Care Item
- Fill in the title, description, type (prayer request, visit, etc.), and urgency level
- Click Save to create the care record
Log a Pastoral Visit
- Switch to the Care tab
- Click Log Visit
- Enter the date, duration (defaults to 60 minutes), location, and notes
- Click Save to record the visit
Add to a Circle
- Switch to the Circles tab
- Click Add to Group
- Search for a circle by name
- Click the circle to add this member
