The Team Detail page is a comprehensive view of a single team. It shows the roster of members with serve statistics, expandable sub-team accordions, upcoming schedule preview, and role template configuration. From here you can add or remove members, reorder sub-teams, and navigate to individual volunteer profiles.

Navigation: Serve → Teams → Click a team row
Overview
The page header shows the team name, type icon, leader, and member count. Below the header, the main content area is divided into sections: sub-team accordions (if the team is a department), member roster table, and an upcoming schedule preview. Each sub-team accordion can be expanded to reveal its own roster with add/remove capabilities.
Fields & Controls
Team Header
| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Team Name | Display | The name of the team with its type icon. |
| Team Type | Badge | Category of the team (Worship, Operations, Hospitality, Children, Ministry, Other). |
| Leader | Display | Avatar and name of the team leader. |
| Member Count | Display | Total number of volunteers on this team. |
Sub-Team Accordion
| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Sub-Team Name | Display | Name of the sub-team with its icon and leader name. |
| Member Count | Badge | Number of members in this sub-team. |
| Move Up / Down | Buttons | Reorder sub-teams within the department. Changes the sort order. |
| View | Button | Navigate to the sub-team detail page. |
| Remove | Button | Remove the sub-team from the department (confirmation required). |
Member Roster Table
| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Member | Display | Avatar, name, and join date of the volunteer. |
| Role | Badge | The volunteer's role within this team (e.g., Volunteer, Leader, Musician). |
| Serves (90d) | Numeric | Number of times this volunteer has served in the last 90 days. |
| Conf. Rate | Progress bar | Confirmation acceptance rate shown as a mini bar with percentage. Green (85%+), amber (70-84%), red (below 70%). |
| Profile | Button | Navigate to the volunteer detail page. |
| Remove | Button | Remove the volunteer from this team (confirmation required). |
Actions
Add a Member
- Click + Add Member at the bottom of a sub-team accordion (or the main roster area)
- A search input appears — type the volunteer's name (minimum 2 characters)
- Results appear showing name, initials, and current team memberships
- Click + Add next to the volunteer's name
- The volunteer is added to the team with the default “Volunteer” role
Remove a Member
- Hover over a member row to reveal the action buttons
- Click Remove
- Confirm the removal in the dialog
- The member is removed from the team roster
Reorder Sub-Teams
- Use the up/down arrow buttons on each sub-team accordion header
- The sub-team moves up or down in the display order
Edit Team Settings
- Click the Edit button in the page header
- You are taken to the team edit form where you can change the name, type, leader, and coverage settings
