CarePrayer Guides allow your leadership team to create structured multi-day prayer and fasting plans that can be shared with your congregation. Each guide has a date range, individual day entries with scripture, focus topics, and prayer points, and can be published with a public shareable link.

Overview
The Prayer Guides list page shows all guides as cards in a responsive grid. Each card displays the guide title, date range, number of days, status badge, and creator name. Guides can be filtered by status: All, Published, Draft, or Archived. Clicking a card opens the guide editor where you can add and edit individual day entries.

Guide List

| Guide Card | Card | Displays guide title, date range, day count, status badge, and creator. |
| Status Badge | Badge | Draft (amber), Published (green), or Archived (gray). |
| + New Guide | Button | Creates a new draft guide with default title and a 7-day range starting today. |
Guide Editor

| Title* | Text input | The name of the prayer guide (e.g., "21 Days of Prayer and Fasting"). |
| Start Date* | Date picker | The first day of the prayer guide. |
| End Date* | Date picker | The last day of the prayer guide. |
| Status | Badge | Current status: Draft, Published, or Archived. |
Day Entry Fields

| Day Number | Display | Sequential day number within the guide. |
| Title* | Text input | Title for the day (e.g., "Day 1: Surrender"). |
| Scripture | Text input | Scripture reference for the day. |
| Focus | Text input | The prayer focus topic for the day. |
| Content | Textarea | Full content including prayer points, devotional text, and instructions. |
Actions
Create a New Prayer Guide
- Click + New Guide on the list page
- A new draft guide is created with default settings
- You are redirected to the guide editor
- Update the title, start date, and end date
- Add day entries using the + Add Day button
Add a Day Entry
- In the guide editor, click + Add Day
- Fill in the day title, scripture, focus, and content
- The day is saved automatically
- Reorder or remove days as needed
Publish a Guide
- Open the guide editor for a Draft guide
- Review all day entries for completeness
- Click Publish
- The guide becomes publicly accessible via its shareable slug URL
Archive a Guide
- Open the guide editor for a Published guide
- Click Archive
- The guide is hidden from the public but remains accessible to staff
Delete a Guide
- Only Super Admins and Lead Pastors can delete guides
- Open the guide editor and click Delete
- Confirm the deletion — this action is permanent
Public Sharing
Published prayer guides have a public URL accessible without authentication via the slug-based endpoint. Congregation members can read the guide day-by-day without needing a SanctuaryOS account. Share this link via email, social media, or your church website.
