Overview
The Flock Reports page provides two comprehensive report views: a Membership Snapshotshowing your current demographic breakdown, and a Growth report showing year-over-year trends. Both reports support campus scoping and can be exported to CSV or printed as PDF.
Report Tabs
Snapshot Tab
The default view showing a point-in-time snapshot of your membership for a selected year. It includes summary KPIs, demographic breakdowns, and year-over-year comparison.
Snapshot KPIs
| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Total Active | Count | Total number of active people (all statuses except INACTIVE) for the selected year. |
| Full Members | Count | Number of people with MEMBER status. |
| New This Year | Count | Number of people who joined during the selected year. |
| Retention Rate | Percentage | Percentage of members from the prior year still active in the selected year. |
| Giving Donors | Count | Number of members who are also active donors. Shows correlation percentage. |
Demographic Breakdowns
Three horizontal bar chart sections show your membership composition:
- By Status — Breakdown by membership status (Member, Regular Attendee, Visitor, Inactive, Staff) with counts and percentages. Each bar is color-coded using status colors.
- By Gender — Breakdown by gender (Male, Female, Other, Unspecified) with counts and percentages.
- By Age — Breakdown by age range (e.g., 0-12, 13-17, 18-25, 26-35, 36-45, 46-55, 56-65, 65+) with counts and percentages.
Year-Over-Year Comparison
A table showing membership totals, full member counts, and new joins for each of the last several years, enabling trend identification.
Growth Tab
The Growth report shows membership trends over time, including monthly net growth (additions minus removals), cumulative growth curves, and status transition analysis.
Campus Scope
Reports support independent campus scoping using the Report Scope Barat the top of the page. You can view data for all campuses combined or drill into a specific campus. This scope selector is independent of the global header campus selector, allowing you to view reports for a different campus without changing your overall context.
Year Selector
The Snapshot tab includes a year picker to view data for any year with available records. This defaults to the current year and allows historical analysis.
Actions
Export to CSV
- Click the export dropdown in the page header
- Select Export CSV
- The download includes all sections: Summary, By Status, By Gender, By Age, and Year-Over-Year data
- The CSV includes metadata headers with the report name, generation date, and selected year
Print / Save as PDF
- Click the export dropdown in the page header
- Select Print / Save as PDF
- The browser print dialog opens with the report formatted for paper output
