The Circles Dashboard is the command centre for your small group ministry. It surfaces key performance indicators, groups needing attention, upcoming meetings, top leaders, and a sortable overview of every group — all on a single page.
Getting Here
Navigation: Circles → Dashboard (or simply click “Circles” in the header)
The /circles route serves as the dashboard. The /circles/dashboardpath redirects here automatically.
Overview
The dashboard is divided into several sections: a KPI strip across the top, a “Needs Attention” panel, a last-week recap, upcoming meetings, top leaders, and a full sortable group table. Data is campus-scoped when a campus is selected in the header campus picker.
Fields & Controls
KPI Strip
| Field | Type | Description |

| Active Groups | Metric | Total number of active groups. Click to navigate to the Groups list. |
| Members in Groups | Percentage | Percentage of the total congregation currently placed in at least one group. |
| Avg Attendance | Percentage | Average attendance rate across all groups over the last 90 days. |
| Unassigned Members | Metric | Number of active congregation members not in any group. Click to navigate to the Unassigned page. |
Needs Attention Panel
| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| NOT_MET | Alert | Group has not met in a specified number of days. |
| NO_ATTENDANCE_LOG | Alert | Group met but attendance was not logged. |
| ATTENDANCE_DROP | Alert | Group attendance rate is declining. |
| MEMBERS_LEAVING | Alert | Multiple members have left the group this month. |
| HEALTH_CRITICAL | Alert | Group health score has fallen into the RED tier. |
| OVER_CAPACITY | Alert | Group membership exceeds its configured capacity. |
Group Table
| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Sort Column | Clickable header | Click column headers to sort by Health, Name, Members, or Last Met. Click again to toggle ascending/descending. |
| Health Score | Display | Composite score (0-100) with colored tier badge (GREEN/AMBER/RED). |
| Member Count | Display | Current active members in the group. |
| Last Met At | Date | Relative time since the group last held a meeting (e.g., "3d ago", "2w ago"). |
Actions
Create a New Group
- Click the + New Group button in the top-right corner of the dashboard banner
- You will be taken to the group creation wizard at
/circles/groups/new
Take Attendance (Quick Action)
- Click the Take Attendance button in the dashboard banner
- A modal appears showing all active groups
- Search for a group by name
- Click the group to navigate to its attendance page
View a Group
- In the group table, click any row to navigate to that group's detail page
