Overview
The Children's Check-In page provides a secure system for managing children during services. It includes a dashboard with real-time statistics, grade distribution, active check-in tracking, and the ability to check children in and out using security codes. The child age threshold is configurable per tenant (default: 12 years).
Dashboard KPIs
Four stat cards display real-time children's ministry metrics:

| Total Profiles | Count | Total number of registered child profiles. |
| Active Profiles | Count | Number of child profiles currently marked as active. |
| Checked In Now | Count | Number of children currently checked in (highlighted in amber). |
| Avg Attendance | Count | Average number of children per service. |
Grade Distribution
A horizontal bar chart shows the distribution of children by grade level (e.g., Nursery, Toddlers, Pre-K, Kindergarten, Grade 1-6, Preteens). Each bar shows the count and is proportionally sized relative to the largest grade group.
Active Check-Ins
A live list of all children currently checked in. Each entry shows the child's name, room assignment, check-in time, and security code. A quick checkout button is available for each entry.
Actions
Check In a Child
- Click the Check In button in the page header
- Search for the child by name in the search modal (minimum 2 characters)
- Matching child profiles appear with their parent/household information
- Click the child's name to check them in
- A security code is generated and displayed — give this to the parent/guardian
- The active check-ins list updates immediately
Check Out a Child
- Click the Check Out button in the page header
- Enter the 4-digit security code provided at check-in
- The system verifies the code and releases the child
- The active check-ins list updates to remove the checked-out child
Quick Checkout
For each actively checked-in child in the list, a quick checkout button is available that uses the stored security code to immediately release the child without requiring manual code entry.
View All Children
Click the View All Children button to navigate to the full children's profiles page at /flock/children/profiles, where you can manage profile details, allergies, and medical information.
