The Song Library is a full-featured worship song catalog. It stores songs with metadata (key, tempo, genre, CCLI number), supports multiple arrangements with chord charts in ChordPro format, provides real-time key transposition, capo calculation, and tracks how frequently each song has been used. The page uses a master-detail layout: a searchable song list on the left, and the selected song's detail and chord chart on the right.

Overview
The left panel displays all songs in a scrollable list with search and genre filtering. Clicking a song opens its detail in the right panel, showing metadata, usage KPIs, chord charts with transposition controls, arrangement tabs, and team notes. On mobile, the layout collapses to a single panel with a slide-out sidebar for the song list.
Fields & Controls
Song List (Left Panel)

| Search | Text input | Search songs by title, artist, or CCLI number. Results filter as you type. |
| Genre Filter | Chip bar | Filter by genre: All, Worship, Praise, Hymn, Christmas. More genres may appear from your catalog. |
| Song Row | List item | Shows song title, artist/author, default key badge, tempo, and usage count. A recency badge appears if the song was used in the last 2 weeks. |
Song Detail (Right Panel)
| Field | Type | Description |

| Title | Display | Song title in large heading format. |
| Artist / Author | Display | The credited artist or original author of the song. |
| Default Key | Badge | The original key of the song (e.g., C, G, Bb). |
| BPM | Numeric | Tempo in beats per minute. Can be updated via tap tempo. |
| Time Signature | Display | Time signature (e.g., 4/4, 6/8). |
| Genre | Badge | Musical genre classification. |
| Tags | Badge list | Searchable tags and themes (e.g., "Grace", "Advent", "Communion"). |
| CCLI Number | Text | CCLI song number for licensing compliance. |
| Year | Numeric | Year the song was published or released. |
| YouTube URL | Link | Link to a reference recording or tutorial video. |
| Themes | Badge list | Theological or topical themes associated with the song. |
Usage KPIs

| Total Uses | Numeric | All-time usage count across all setlists and services. |
| Uses This Year | Numeric | Number of times used in the current calendar year. |
| Uses This Month | Numeric | Number of times used in the current month. |
| Recent Usage | Table | List of recent uses showing setlist title, service date, and key used. |
| Usage Frequency Label | Badge | Colour-coded badge: "Not used yet" (gray), usage count with "in 90 days" (green/amber), or "used frequently" (orange for 8+ uses). |
| Recency Badge | Badge | "Last week" (red) or "2 weeks ago" (amber) if the song was used very recently. No badge for songs 14+ days since last use. |
Chord Chart Viewer
| Field | Type | Description |

| Arrangement Selector | Tabs | Switch between arrangements (e.g., "Standard", "Acoustic"). The default arrangement is shown first. |
| Display Key | Key picker | Transpose the chord chart to any of the 12 keys. Uses a circular key picker (circle of fifths style). |
| Capo | Numeric | Calculated capo position based on the transposition. Automatically computed when you change the display key. |
| Notation | Toggle | Switch between Standard notation (C, D, E) and Nashville Number notation (1, 2, 3). |
| View Mode | Toggle | Switch between Chord Sheet (chords above lyrics) and Lyrics Only (no chords) views. |
| Show Chords | Toggle | Show or hide chord symbols in the display. |
| Large Text | Toggle | Increase font size for projection or stage monitor use. |
| Team Notes | Textarea | Freeform notes field for the worship team (e.g., "Play softly on verse 2", "Key change at bridge"). |
Tap Tempo

| Tap Tempo Button | Button | Tap repeatedly to calculate BPM from your rhythm. The detected BPM updates after 3+ taps. |
Actions
Add a New Song
- Click the + Add Song button
- The song editor opens where you enter title, artist, key, tempo, genre, CCLI number, and lyrics
- Save to add the song to the library
Edit a Song
- Select a song from the list
- Click the Edit button in the detail panel
- Modify the song metadata and save
Transpose a Chord Chart
- Select a song with a chord chart
- Use the Key Picker circle to select the target key
- The chart transposes instantly — all chords update in real time
- The capo position is calculated automatically based on the transposition distance
Add Song to a Setlist
- Select a song from the list
- Click Add to Setlist
- Choose the target setlist from the modal
- The song is appended to the setlist
Archive a Song
- Only Super Admin users can archive songs
- Select the song and click Archive
- Archived songs are hidden from the default list view but not deleted
