Gather Settings

Gather Settings configure the attendance, check-in, and service planning features of SanctuaryOS. These settings affect how services are scheduled, how children are checked in, and how the order of service is structured.

Overview

The Gather settings section contains four configuration areas:

• Service Patterns — Recurring weekly service schedules that automatically generate service instances. Each pattern defines the day, time, campus, and giving window.
• Children's Rooms — Room configurations for children's ministry check-in, including age ranges, capacity limits, and security tag prefixes.
• Plan Templates — Reusable order of service templates that auto-populate when a new service is created.
• QR Codes — Bulk generation and distribution of member QR codes for fast check-in scanning.

Setup Order

For a new church setup, configure these in the following order:

1. Create Service Patterns for your recurring services (e.g., Sunday Morning, Wednesday Evening)
2. Set up Children's Rooms if you operate children's ministry
3. Create Plan Templates for your typical order of service
4. Generate QR Codes for your members after importing your people database
