Communications Settings

Communications settings control automated email templates and system-wide lookup tables used across SanctuaryOS. These are cross-module settings that affect how the system communicates with donors, volunteers, and members.

Overview

The Communications settings section contains two configuration areas:

• Email Templates — Automated email templates for Steward (giving) and Serve (volunteer) communications. Each template is tied to a trigger event (e.g., first-time giver, volunteer confirmation) and can be customized with merge fields.
• Lookup Tables — The System Dictionary containing configurable lookup values used across all modules. Includes transaction sources, fund categories, membership statuses, payment methods, onboarding stages, household relationships, and prayer categories.
