StewardStatement settings control how SanctuaryOS generates and delivers contribution statements for your donors. This includes automatic monthly interim statements and annual CRA-compliant tax receipts.

Overview
The statement settings page has two toggle controls that determine whether monthly statements are generated automatically and whether they are emailed to donors without manual review.
Fields

| Auto-generate monthly statements | Toggle | When enabled, SanctuaryOS generates interim statements for all donors on the 1st of each month covering the previous month. Statements appear on the Statements page for review. |
| Auto-email after generation | Toggle | When enabled, generated monthly statements are automatically emailed to donors with an email address on file. Requires auto-generate to be enabled first. When disabled, statements require manual review and email from the Statements page. |
How It Works
- Monthly statements run on the 1st of each month at 6:00 AM (your church timezone)
- They cover the previous calendar month
- These are issued as interim receipts, not annual CRA tax receipts
- Annual CRA tax receipts are generated separately through the Statements page
Configuration Scenarios
Fully Automated
Enable both toggles. Statements are generated and emailed without any manual intervention. Best for churches that want hands-off statement delivery.
Generate and Review
Enable auto-generate but leave auto-email off. Statements are generated monthly and appear on the Statements page for review before you manually trigger the email send. Best for churches that want to spot-check before sending.
Manual Only
Leave both toggles off. Generate statements on-demand from the Statements page. Best for churches that generate statements quarterly or annually only.
